Meet Rosie Wareham
Midlife women are in their Own Business Era: 25 for 25
For so many reasons, midlife women are in their Own Business Era.
I’m lucky to know many women who’ve left corporate culture, and are now building and scaling their own thing. Trademarking their IP, working solo or employing and contracting others.
During December, I’m publishing an alternative advent calendar featuring midlife women who’ve decided to be the boss of their own careers.
This series of posts, 25 for 25, features midlife women on the rise. Behind the next door on my alternative advent calendar is The Mother of All-round Marketers, Rosie Wareham.
The Mother of All-round Marketers: Rosie Wareham
Rosie Wareham’s mission is simple but heartfelt - to support solo marketers in every way she can. Marketing’s a creative profession and Rosie believes we’re happier, better marketers when we work together and give each other energy. That’s why she launched a cohort membership called The Marketing Jacks, which brings team energy to solo marketers.
Rosie’s a marketing consultant herself, whose work supports businesses to develop clear, actionable and impactful marketing strategies.
Rosie says her business has pivoted three times - she’s worked in partnership and alone, she’s launched a membership and done plenty of self development in the last 12 months to help her feel more confident about putting her ideas out into the world.
“I couldn't have possibly predicted my career path, it's very squiggly! I'd tell myself to worry much less about finding a 'niche' - follow the things that light you up and the rest will become clear.”

2025 is for …
Rosie is launching more cohorts of The Marketing Jacks, possibly running an event and starting a podcast, where she plans to showcase all the wonderful members of her community.
Inspiration & motivation comes from …
Team energy. Rosie thrives on seeing other marketers feel supported or happier about their work, or seeing a team or business feel like they have clarity and know how to move forward with their marketing. If Rosie knows she’s made a difference and added value to them, she’s happy.
“The Marketing Jacks inspire me every day. Everyone is so open, supportive and hard working with so much expertise. Disha Solanki has been a real mentor to me and Alice Walton has been there at every step of my business journey.”
Rosie’s advice for her younger self
“I couldn't have possibly predicted my career path, it's very squiggly! I'd tell myself to worry much less about finding a 'niche' - follow the things that light you up and the rest will become clear.”
